The Annual Five-a-Side Football Cup for businesses in Victoria and Westminster holds its sixth event in June

An annual five-a-side football cup for businesses in Victoria and Westminster will be held for for the sixth time in June.

Competing teams from the Victoria and Westminster BID business umbrella groups have until May 24 to register, and with only 16 places available from a potential pool of some 250 companies, just getting to take part in the Victoria Football Cup may require the luck of a draw.

At least last year’s winners World Fuel Services (pictured) are assured of a slot as they bid to defend the trophy. The event takes places at the Queen Mother Sports Centre in Vauxhall Bridge Road, from June 10-20.

Teams can be all-male, all female or mixed gender.

Two matches every evening take place over the two weeks of competition (6pm-7.35pm).

Each team has to list five main players, three substitutes and a manager.
