Millwall boss Neil Harris promises he will make January transfer window changes

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Millwall manager Neil Harris saw his side make it maximum points over the Christmas period – but then revealed it will not change his plans to remould the squad in the January transfer window.

The Lions will recall all of their players out on loan and they will be back with their parent club for training on Friday.

Harris, speaking after today’s 3-2 win at Ipswich Town, said: “I’m delighted with nine points out of nine but the first half of the season has not been good enough – standards-wise.

“We need to add some experience to the squad and competition to the squad.

“If players end up going out the way – loan players going back to their clubs, players go out the building sold or on loan then I have got no issue with that whatsoever.

“We need to freshen it up and make some changes and we’ll be doing that in this window.”
