Woman charged with murder of Adrian Murphy in Battersea

A woman has been charged with the murder of Adrian Murphy who was found dead in his flat in Battersea in June last year.

Diana Cristea, 18, from Barnet, was arrested on January 14 and charged with the murder of 43-year-old Adrian Murphy and poisoning a 40-year-old man from Walthamstow.

Cristea was also charged with two counts of theft and two counts of fraud by false representation in relation to both victims.

Cristea will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on January 15.

Joel Osei, 25, of no fixed abode, was previously arrested in October last year and charged with two counts of poisoning, two counts of theft and six counts of fraud by false representation in relation to both victims.

He was then charged with murder in December last year and will appear at the Old Bailey on February 17.
