Two arrests in connection with killing of 22-year-old in Anerley

Two arrests have been made following a fatal stabbing in Bromley.

Two men – aged 19 and 21 – have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in custody at a South London Police Station.

Police were called at around 12,30pm on Sunday, 4 November, to a report of a stabbing in Samos Road, Anerley.

Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

The man, believed to be 22-years-old was found suffering from stab injuries. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene at around 1pm.

Enquiries are being made to establish his identity and to inform his next of kin.

A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.

Cordons are in place at the scene, and an urgent investigation is underway.
