Tom Bradshaw nets first Millwall goals – and Shaun Hutchinson makes playing return
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
Tom Bradshaw scored his first goals in a Millwall shirt as his double secured their U23 side a 2-0 win over Watford at The Den.
The August signing from Barnsley has been forced to largely play the role of substitute in his early weeks with the South London club.
But Bradshaw played 71 minutes today and opened the scoring early in the second half after Rob Harvey had been fouled in the box. The striker converted from the penalty spot.
It was soon 2-0. Isaac Olaofe laid on the chance for Bradshaw and he converted low past Hornet keeper Sam Howes.
Defender Shaun Hutchinson, who had been missing with a knee injury, played the first 45 minutes.
It is hoped the vice-captain will be available for selection for next weekend’s Championship game at Reading.
