Teenager held on multiple charges after car is stopped in Lambeth

A man has been charged with multiple offences after a vehicle was stopped in Lambeth.

Kayode Badejo, 19, who police would only say was from South-east London, was charged yesterday with:

  • Possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life
  • Possession of a firearm while prohibited
  • Possession of ammunition
  • Possession of ammunition while prohibited
  • Two counts of possession of cannabis
  • Aggravated taking and driving away
  • Driving not in accordance
  • No insurance

He was kept in custody and appeared at Camberwell Magistrates’ Court today.

He was then remanded in custody to appear the Inner London Crown Court on Tuesday, February 25.

The arrest follows the stop of a car that was seen by officers travelling in Brixton Hill, Lambeth on Tuesday.

The driver was arrested and subsequently charged.
