The Southwark-born attacker, 23, joined the Eagles at the age of 15.
He had spells on loan with Shrewsbury Town, Brentford and Charlton Athletic.
Kaikai said: “I’m delighted to be here. I’ve heard a lot about the club and I’m excited to start a new chapter.
“I want to help the team as much as I can. I’ve come here to give it my best shot.
“It’s an important step in my career and I’ll give it my all.”
