Sought-after Dulwich Hamlet star Reise Allassani a doubt for Margate trip

Reise Allassani is a doubt for Dulwich Hamlet’s trip to Margate on Saturday – with boss Gavin Rose saying the Bostik League Premier Division leaders will not “speculate” on clubs eyeing the former Crystal Palace attacker.

Norwich City, Reading, Rangers, Barnsley and Gillingham have been linked this week with Allassani, who was forced off with a slight knock in Saturday’s 4-3 win over Folkestone Invicta.

Rose said: “We’ve had lots of interest and people talking about putting bids on the table, but not enough for us to talk about. We’re probably doing a disservice if we speculate at the moment because we haven’t got enough meat on the bones.

“He started Saturday’s game with a really tight hip flexor and it got heavier and heavier. He could’ve carried on but would probably have done himself more damage.

“It is touch and go whether he’ll be fit for Saturday. He’s had some rest this week. We’ll see if he can take part in Thursday’s training – if he doesn’t then he probably won’t be involved.”
