Police appeal for help to find Greenwich man in connection with stabbing at betting shop in Eltham

Detectives investigating a stabbing in Greenwich have released the image and name of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Police were called at about 5pm on Monday, July 23 to reports of a stabbing at a betting shop in Newmarket Green, Eltham.

Officers, paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance attended and found a man aged in his 30s suffering from stab injuries.

He was taken to an east London hospital with serious injuries. He is now stable and recovering.

Detectives from Greenwich CID are investigating and would like to speak to Lloyd Boniface, 24, of Eltham, about the incident.

Boniface is described as 5 ft 10ins, of medium build.

Anyone who knows of Boniface’s whereabouts or has any information about the incident should call Greenwich CID on or 101 quoting CAD 6183/23JUL.
