Nottingham Forest v Charlton Athletic team news: Addicks suffer THREE further injury setbacks

BY LOUIS MENDEZ

Charlton have suffered a number of setbacks on the injury front ahead of this evening’s trip to Nottingham Forest.

Darren Pratley and Andre Green are both absent from the matchday squad after starting the 3-1 loss at Stoke on Saturday.

Sam Field, who has featured on the bench for the last two games after being out since October, also misses out today after suffering a knock in training.

Jonny Williams misses out as well, but the midfielder is being rested – he joined in training this morning.

The severity of all the new injuries are yet to be revealed.

Lee Bowyer makes a total of four changes for this evening’s trip to the City Ground, with Ben Purrington the other man to make way – dropping to the bench.

Naby Sarr, Erhun Oztumer, Alfie Doughty and Tomer Hemed all come into the starting eleven.

There’s also places on the bench for Macauley Bonne, Deji Oshilaja, Chuks Aneke and Aidan McGeady.

Bonne returns after suffering a knock in the defeat at Derby just before the turn of the year. Aneke hasn’t featured since early November, whilst Oshilaja and McGeady have recovered from a minor injury and illness respectively.

Charlton: Phillips, Matthews, Lockyer, Pearce, Sarr, Doughty, Cullen, Davis, Oztumer, Hemed, Taylor. Subs: Amos, Purrington, Oshilaja, Aneke, McGeady, Bonne, Smith.
