Non-league round-up: Tooting emphatic winners in league as FA Cup action beckons for top South London clubs
Tooting & Mitcham returned to winning ways on Tuesday night – cruising to a 4-0 home victory over Bedfont Sports.
Goals from Danny Bassett, David Castanho and Razzaq Coleman put them in a commanding lead by the break. Omari Hibbert converted an 89th-minute penalty.
The Terrors, second in the Isthmian South Central Division and still unbeaten, are at home to Dorking Wanderers tomorrow in the FA Cup.
Dulwich Hamlet are also in action in the same competition as they face Bognor Regis Town at Champion Hill.
Gavin Rose’s side have lost their last three National League South games and have not won since August 24.
Cray Valley PM dropped to seventh in the Isthmian League South East Division after a 1-1 draw at Whitstable Town on Tuesday. Francis Babalola had put them ahead.
Bromley, second in the National League, host Notts County tomorrow.
Greenwich Borough won 2-0 at Molesey in the FA Vase with goals in either half by Richard Jimoh and Fred Obasa.
