Missing: Police appeal to find man last seen in Southwark
Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a missing 26-year-old man who was last seen in the Southbank area.
Menelik Mimano, from Beckenham, finished college in the Kings Cross area at around 6.30pm on Tuesday July 23.
He spoke to a family member on the phone and sounded distressed and then ran away from his friends.
A concern for welfare call was made to police and Menelik was deemed a high risk missing person.
Police have established that he was sighted in the Southbank area at around 8pm by a friend. He was last seen heading in the direction of Waterloo Train Station.
Menelik Mimano is a black male, aged 26, of slim build, with short black hair.
At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a light purple t-shirt and blue shorts.
Officers are increasingly concerned for Menelik’s well being and would urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000.
