Millwall’s match at Luton to be televised – as they look to stretch unbeaten run against League One champs to six matches
Sky Sports have decided to screen Millwall’s match at Luton Town on October 2.
The match at Kenilworth Road is a 7.45pm kick off and it will be the first meeting of the two clubs in a league match since February 2008.
Millwall’s last visit to Luton was in the EFL Trophy in 2016. Harry Smith scored twice with Fred Onyedinma also on target.
The Lions also won 3-0 there in the FA Cup in 2013 – James Henry, Rob Hulse and Dany N’Guessan the scorers.
Millwall are unbeaten in their last five encounters with Luton, who won the League One title last season. Former Lions assistant manager Mick Harford was in caretaker charge at Town from January but returned to his role as recruitment chief after Graeme Jones was appointed the new boss in May.
Luton have signed Ryan Tunnicliffe, released by Millwall.
