Millwall Lionesses lose the services of Ella Rutherford
BY LUCAS BALL
Ella Rutherford has become the latest player to leave the Millwall Lionesses, announcing the departure from her childhood club on Twitter.
She tweeted: “With a heavy heart I say goodbye to my childhood club. I would just like to thank all the staff and all my team mates I have worked with! I feel at this point in my career it’s time to move forward and I am excited for what the future holds! Thank you @millwalllioness 💙”
Rutherford netted five times in 15 games last season, with the 18 year old leaving the Lionesses after first signing aged just 12.
