Millwall defender Shaun Hutchinson set to see specialist tomorrow

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Shaun Hutchinson is set to see a specialist on Wednesday – with the Millwall defender sidelined with a knee injury.

The Lions centre-back, who was their star performer last season, has missed the last three matches with the problem.

“Hutch is seeing a specialist on Wednesday and that is not necessarily a negative,” said Millwall manager Neil Harris. “It’s about seeing when we can get him back on the grass.

“Initially it looked as if it would be six to eight weeks. We’ll know more once the specialist has seen him. Of course it could be worse but the likelihood is it will be the same or could be better.

“It will be quite clear after Wednesday.”
