Millwall defender could be back available for Sheffield United match

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Shaun Hutchinson could be back available for Millwall’s trip to Sheffield United on Saturday.

The centre-back missed Saturday’s win over West Brom due to illness – Lions chief Neil Harris revealing on Monday that the former Fulham man was in hospital.

But Hutchinson was at tonight’s 0-0 draw with QPR, although not in a playing capacity. He did not make the matchday squad of 18.

Asked if he would come back into contention for this weekend, Harris said: “Possibly. We need everybody fit because it’s our third game in a week – it’s a tight turnaround time from Wednesday to Saturday. It will be the same for Sheffield United.

“But it’s a big game and another big challenge for us.”

Shane Ferguson will be back available after completing his three-match suspension.
