Millwall boss Neil Harris on Hull City threat

Neil Harris is ready for Millwall to be tested at Hull City tomorrow night – and has spoken about the quality in the ranks of the former Premier League club.

The hosts are fighting to stave off back-to-back relegations as their return to the Championship has not gone to plan.

And Harris warned: “They have got some outstanding players and have spent an unbelievable amount. You look at their team and it is a top-six Championship side. We know it’s another challenge, another one we’ll embrace.

“They’ve got dangerous players, goalscorers in attacking positions and some players coming back to fitness who have been missing. It is another good game for us.”

Millwall have won four straight on the road, with three successive clean sheets.

“We need to be as good as we have been – very difficult to break down,” said Harris.

“We need to be competitive, win second balls and when the chances come we have got to be clinical.

“Like we showed at Burton, there might not have been a lot of chances but it is about taking it when it comes along – either a great finish or just chested in like [Ben] Marshall. We’ve got to make sure we’re in the right areas.”
