Luton Town v Charlton Athletic team news: Injury-ravaged Addicks make four changes

BY LOUIS MENDEZ

Lee Bowyer makes four changes as his injury-ravaged squad travel to Luton Town.

The Addicks already had ten out injured before Saturday’s draw with Cardiff and have now also lost the services of Josh Cullen and Erhun Oztumer ahead of this evening’s game – the latter picking up a minor knock during the closing stages of the match against the Bluebirds.

Albie Morgan makes his first Championship start in the midfield, with Darren Pratley returning from suspension.

Deji Oshilaja and Adam Matthews both drop to the bench after playing a full ninety minutes over the weekend – with Naby Sarr and Chris Solly coming in to complete what is expected to be a back-three with Solly and Ben Purrington as wing-backs.

19-year-old midfielder James Vennings makes a first ever appearance on the bench, sitting alongside with fellow youngsters Josh Davison and Alfie Doughty. The Addicks only name six of a possible seven substitutes.

Charlton: Phillips, Solly, Lockyer, Pearce, Sarr, Purrington, Pratley, Morgan, Gallagher, Leko, Bonne. Subs: Maynard-Brewer, Matthews, Oshilaja, Davison, Doughty, Vennings.
