London Senior Cup Quarter Final: Erith Town 2-1 Tooting and Mitcham United

Erith Town entertained BetVictor South Central Division promotion candidates Tooting & Mitcham United in the quarter finals of the London Senior Cup at a cold Erith Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The visitors took an early lead following a 14th minute strike from Dominic Morgan-Griffiths and looked in control for most of the first half.

However The Dockers, who in the previous round despatched the holders Welling United 3-1 at Park View Road, were not to be denied and put in an excellent second half performance to the delight of Dockers manager.

The pacy Ralique Lawrence eluded the advancing Tooting keeper to the stroke the ball gently over the line from the most acute of angles.

With penalties looking likely, The Dockers winger Danny Phillips placed an angled drive from 20 yards in the 90th minute to give a win that leaves them facing either AFC Wimbledon or Brentford B in the semi final.
