Lewisham light-heavyweight Dan Azeez claims points victory
Unbeaten Lewisham light-heavyweight Dan Azeez picked up his fifth career win with a narrow points verdict over Adam Jones on Friday night.
The 28-year-old was the 39-38 victor on referee Mark Bates’ scorecard in a close contest at Bethnal Green’s York Hall.
It is the first time Azeez has had to go the distance since his professional debut in December 2017.
