Key man for Millwall set to resume training today
Shaun Williams is set to resume full training today after two months out with a knee problem.
The Millwall midfielder’s absence has given Ryan Tunnicliffe a run of matches alongside George Saville.
But Williams’ imminent return will ramp up the competition in the middle of the park.
“Realistically he needs two weeks of training and some minutes in an under-23 game before he is considered for first-team selection,” said
Harris. “We have really missed him and that is no disrespect to anyone playing in the team.
“He is a big figure, a senior player.
“We are looking forward to getting him back in the group but he has still got to tick some boxes before he becomes an option for the first-team.”
