Greenwich Borough see promotion hopes ended again by Corinthian-Casuals
By Richard Cawley
Greenwich Borough’s promotion hopes are over after a 3-0 defeat to Corinthian-Casuals in the Bostik League South Division play-offs.
It is a repeat of the outcome a year ago when Casuals also knocked the South London club out.
Josh Uzun’s 23rd-minute penalty put the away side ahead and they doubled their advantage through Gabriel Odunaike before the interval.
Odunaike added another seven minutes into the second half to end any lingering hopes that Paul Barnes’ side could mount a fightback.
