Free Cinderella show in Sydenham

A magical version of the classic fairy tale Cinderella, will play to audiences tomorrow at 2pm – and tickets are all free.
This is a magical, 30 min show, featuring original songs just a little familiar to fans of a certain Swedish super-group – it also has all the wonder of the original story.
This Cinderella mashed-up with
Mamma Mia! and you’re halfway there…
The first show, tomorrow, is at 2pm at Sydenham Community Library.
It is also being performed on Saturday 8 December, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm Upstairs at the Sydenham Centre
AS the shows are free, there is no need to book tickets, just turn up early to
guarantee the best seats. As our capacity at each venue is approx 100, we cannot guarantee entry for
any late arrivals. Show lasts approx 30 mins and is suitable for all ages, including unaccompanied adults!
Passionate about creating original theatre for young audiences, Spontaneous Productions aims to reinvent classic tales with a modern twist, often surprising and always entertaining.
The cast of four features Spontaneous regulars SHIREENAH INGRAM – last seen in Love Bites Again and Cream of Ocelot – as Cinderella, HJALMAR NORDÉN – last seen as the Big Bad Wolf in The Three Little Pigs – Prince Charming and Ugly Sister Agnetha, WILLIAM HASTINGS – last seen in Three Men in a Boat and Cream of Ocelot – as Buttons and Ugly Sister Anna-Frid. PLUS newcomer POPPY PICKLES – of Sydenham-based a capella group The Frockettes – as The Wicked Stepmother and The Fairy Godmother.
Original songs are by Paul Tornbohm, design by Sally Hardcastle and costume design by Jackie Poulett.
The shows are kindly supported by Lewisham Council, SEE3, Property World Estate Agents, Woodfall Opticians, Alexandra Nurseries, Billings Fishmongers and Butchers and Well-Being Health Foods in Sydenham.
