Former Charlton Athletic striker set for AFC Wimbledon switch
Former Charlton striker Joe Pigott is set to join AFC Wimbledon next week – after the League One club triggered his buyout fee at Maidstone United.
The Dons tabled a £25,000 offer for the 24-year-old, who allows him to discuss personal terms.
Pigott is set to complete the move next week.
He has got 12 goals in 30 matches this season – 11 of those in the National League.
Pigott was released by Charlton in the summer of 2016. After a season with Cambridge United he moved to Maidstone in the summer.
