Ella’s Foundation holds annual event to raise funds and awareness of the dangers of asthma

The Ella Roberta Festive Concert is an annual event that takes place to raise
much needed funds for Ella’s foundation.

Ella Kissi Debrah, pictured right, who died of an accute asthma attack aged nine, was a talented musician and played many instruments during her short life which included piano, guitar, cornett and drums.

Musicians volunteer their time and talents to this event, which has been taking place since 2015.

This year it will take place on the last Saturday in November and will start
at 5pm.

Ella’s foundation has continued to raise awareness of the dangers of asthma and campaigned for clean air in London.

Every year, the foundation sponsors new research into asthma at the John Price Respiratory Conference.

This year the foundation took part in the #AskAboutAsthma campaign with Healthy London Partnership from September 5-6 to cut down the number of
children who are admitted to A&E when asthma admissions are at their peak.

The foundation has been out at the Lewisham People’s Day and speaking to many groups like Bromley Friends of the Earth.

The event will be held at St Swithun’s Church. This year for the first time they will have a Christmas stall that will sell handmade decorations which were made by the parents of Ella’s friends.

There will be mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies throughout the evening.
