Crystal Palace v Norwich City: Mamadou Sakho misses out – Kelly replacing him in Roy Hodgson’s only change

BY SAM SMITH

Martin Kelly replaces Mamadou Sakho in Crystal Palace’s only change from their 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.

Hodgson had said French defender Sakho was suffering from a “slight strain” in his press conference yesterday and he misses out against Norwich City today.

The Eagles are otherwise unchanged, with Wilfried Zaha and Jeffrey Schlupp flanking Jordan Ayew. Patrick van Aanholt keeps his place at left-back despite his slip in form.

Summer signing Victor Camarasa does not make the bench.

The Canaries have made two changes from their 2-0 defeat at Burnley. Young right-back Max Aarons replaces Sam Byram and Moritz Leitner comes in for Alexander Tettey.

Crystal Palace: Guaita, Ward, Cahill, Kelly, Van Aanholt, McArthur, Milivejovic, Kouyate, Zaha, Ayew, Schlupp. Subs: Hennessey, Tomkins, Dann, Meyer, Townsend, Benteke, McCarthy.

Norwich City: Krul, Aarons, Amadou, Godfrey, Lewis, McLean, Leitner, Buendia, Stiepermann, Pukki, Cantwell. Subs: McGovern, Byram, Hanley, Roberts, Drmic, Srbeny, Idah.
