Crystal Palace v Liverpool line-ups: Eagles unchanged as they face Premier League leaders – Salah drops to bench for Reds
BY SAM SMITH
Roy Hodgson has named an unchanged Crystal Palace team to face Liverpool this afternoon.
The Eagles fell to a 2-0 defeat at Chelsea before the international break. The period without a game allowed Joel Ward to recover from a groin injury which saw him withdrawn before half-time.
Wilfried Zaha pulled out of the Ivory Coast squad but is fit to start.
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is only fit enough to start on the Reds’ bench. Andy Robertson has overcome a late fitness test to start at left back.
Palace: Guaita, Ward, Cahill, Tomkins, Van Aanholt, McArthur, Milivojevic, Kouyate, Townsend, Ayew, Zaha. Subs: Hennessey, Kelly, Dann, McCarthy, Meyer, Schlupp, Benteke.
Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Lovren, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henderson, Firmino, Mane. Subs: Adrian, Milner, Keita, Salah, Gomez, Lallana, Origi.
