Cray Valley PM lose FA Vase final to Chertsey Town
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
Cray Valley PM saw their FA Vase dreams ended in today’s final – as they lost 3-1 after extra-time to Chertsey Town.
Former Dulwich Hamlet striker Gavin Rose had given the SCEFL Premier Division champions the lead at Wembley in the 36th minute.
But Sam Flegg headed home an equaliser just two minutes later.
Chertsey, managed by former AFC Wimbledon boss Dave Anderson, scored twice in extra-time through Jake Baxter and former Tooting & Mitcham defender Quincy Rowe.
