Charlton winger battling to be fit to face former club Bradford City
Mark Marshall is a major doubt for Charlton’s trip to Bradford City on Saturday – with the winger sidelined with a thigh strain.
The South London made the switch to the Addicks in the summer, opting to leave this weekend’s opponents on a free transfer.
Marshall had only recently returned from knee ligament damage sustained in a pre-season friendly at Stevenage.
He sat out Saturday’s 1-0 win over Doncaster and Tuesday’s 1-1 draw at Oxford.
“It is a little bit worse than we thought,” said Addicks boss Karl Robinson. “He did something quite unusual from a biomechanical perspective and that’s where he felt the twinge.
“He stopped right away and got immediate treatment on it. It won’t be a massive one [in terms of timescale out.”
