Charlton loan star Dasilva trains with senior England squad ahead of Germany friendly
Charlton loanee Jay Dasilva was promoted to the senior England squad for a training session today – ahead of their friendly on Friday against Germany.
The left-back is on a season-long loan with the Addicks and has been capped by the Three Lions at under-16 all the way through to under-20 level – winning the European Championships with the under-19s age group in the summer.
Dasilva’s call-up by England under-20s for the latest round of international matches allowed Charlton to call off their League One game at Shrewsbury on Saturday.
Josh Magennis is on duty with Northern Ireland ahead of their World Cup play-off decider while Ezri Konsa is also part of the England under-20 squad.
