Charlton Athletic Women sign former Millwall Lionesses defender
Charlton Athletic Women have signed Riva Casley on a free transfer.
The 20-year-old, a former England U17 international, spent last season with Millwall Lionesses.
Casley said: “I feel really positive after signing.
“I know for a fact that I want to be playing 100 per cent of the time, the whole way through the season.
“I don’t want any niggles, any injuries or anything that’s going to put me out of football for a long time, like it has done the past couple of seasons. So hopefully it’s a positive season.
“We start pre-season this week and the couple of sessions I’ve already been involved with were really positive and have shown me football in a new light.”
