Charlton Athletic v Barnsley team news: Two changes as Bielik returns to Addicks defence
Krystian Bielik returns from injury as Lee Bowyer makes two changes to his Charlton side for today’s visit of high-flying Barnsley.
The Polish defender, on-loan from Arsenal, hasn’t featured since his goal won the South Londoners three points at Southend in early September.
Naby Sarr drops to the bench, with Bielik partnering Jason Pearce at centre-half. Chris Solly will continue to fill in at left-back, with Anfernee Dijksteel on the right-side of the back-four.
Jamie Ward also starts in the other change from the 2-1 home defeat against Coventry, with Tariqe Fosu starting amongst the substitutes.
Igor Vetokele is absent after suffering a minor knock in training on Thursday.
Charlton: Steer, Solly, Bielik, Pearce, Dijksteel, Cullen, Ward, Aribo, Reeves, Grant, Taylor. Subs: Phillips, Sarr, Pratley, Fosu, Ajose, Lapslie, Marshall.
