Charlton Athletic injury update ahead of Plymouth Argyle game

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Lee Bowyer does not expect any team selection boosts for Charlton Athletic ahead of Saturday’s home game against Plymouth Argyle.

The Addicks have lost centre-back Patrick Bauer for the next two months with knee ligament damage.

Winger Tariqe Fosu serves the final match of his three-game suspension.

Krystian Bielik (calf), Darren Pratley (hamstring) and Nicky Ajose (hamstring) are also out. Billy Clarke (knee) is still not ready for a return.

Addicks manager Bowyer said: “Pratley is back running but he is going to be at least another week to 10 days.

“I don’t think Krystian is going to make it. He started running earlier this week but had a little bit of pain in the calf, not in the same area but from the hard work he had done in the gym. I think it will just be too soon for him.”
