Ben Amos could be an injury doubt for Charlton’s home game against Plymouth this weekend – with the goalkeeper suffering a back injury on Saturday.

The on-loan Bolton Wanderers shotstopper completed the full match as the Addicks drew 0-0 at home against Fleetwood Town.

But boss Karl Robinson told Charlton Live: “He got injured weirdly, going out for the game and picking the ball out of the net. His back sort of twinged. It looked like he was going to come off after four or five minutes but he had lots of painkillers at half-time and we got some more to him during the game.

“He will be in a lot of pain tomorrow [Sunday]. That could be a probability he is not fit for next weekend. We’ll see how that one materialises in the next 48 hours. Backs can be unpredictable.”
