Charlton Athletic could allow loan exits for two young talents in January transfer window

Charlton could be ready to listen to loan offers for Joe Aribo and Karlan Ahearne-Grant in the January transfer window.

Aribo, 21, bagged the winner in Wednesday’s EFL Trophy win over Fulham under-21s which confirms the club’s passage into the next round of the tournament.

“Joe was really strong,” said Robinson. “He looked one of the best players on the pitch. He looks like he has grown into his body and become more developed.

“I don’t know yet [if they would loan Aribo and Ahearne-Grant]. We’d have to find better before they go. The squad is small enough as it is.

“If you look at our matchday programme we have changed the amount of names on there.

“I feel you’ve got to have made a league start to be on the back of there.”
