Boxer to raise money for sick children

An office manager has appealed for help in raising money for ill children – by taking part in a boxing contest.

Olegas Riabova will fight on a white collar card at the Camden Centre, Euston Road, on October 27 to raise money for research and treatment of children with a range of different cancers.

Olegas said: “I have been given the opportunity to support, raise awareness and funds for one of UK’s largest organization – Children With Cancer UK.

“You can support me as one of the fighters at the event by donating Virgin Money Giving link or by buying tickets for the event. All the donations go directly to Children With Cancer UK and will help to fund scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner. Every step we make towards beating cancer relies on every pound donated by you. Generosity is giving more than you can, and pride is taking less than you need.

“Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not-for-profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity’s behalf where the donor is eligible for this.

“I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.”

The Camden Centre is opposite St Pancras Station on Euston Road.
