Artwork on permanent display on the Northern Line extension

Two artworks will be on permanent display in the two lines of the new Northern line extension.

Pictured are Nine Elms station ticket hall artwork by Samara Scott, while Alexandre da Cunha’s artwork will adorn Battersea Power Station station.

Artworks on permanent display on Northern Line

Eleanor Pinfield, head of art on the Underground, said: “These two commissions will create a unique identity for each station, bringing a wholly different perspective on the riverside community in which they are located.

“They will bring the work of these artists to thousands of people every day, enriching TfL’s long history of commissioning extraordinary arworks for our customers.
