AFC Wimbledon striker boost – but other frontman still missing
BY RICHARD CAWLEY
AFC Wimbledon have been handed a boost after Joe Pigott resumed training yesterday.
The targetman has been sidelined by a thigh strain.
Dons boss Wally Downes said: “Pigott trained today [Tuesday] for the first time.
“Wordy [Anthony Wordsworth] had a dental appointment, so I assumed that will be okay.
“Waggy [Scott Wagstaff] is ahead of schedule.
“[James] Hanson is not. He’ll be the slowest to recover at the moment.”
