Millwall have appealed Lee Gregory’s red card at QPR – and could learn if it is successful tomorrow.

The Lions striker was dismissed for a challenge on Josh Scowen during a feisty derby at Loftus Road which ended 2-2.

Millwall have reviewed footage of the incident and have now submitted their application to get Gregory’s ban overturned.

A disciplinary panel will review the case either tomorrow or Friday, with a decision made in time for Saturday’s home game against Championship leaders Leeds United.

If unsuccessful then Gregory will be suspended for three matches.

Aiden O’Brien has served his one-game ban and will be back in contention for the visit of the Yorkshire club.
