Charlton have been dealt a boost with the news that striker Josh Magennis is fit enough to start away at Plymouth Argyle.
The Northern Irish international had picked up a tweak in his knee that kept him out of the opening day win over Bristol Rovers but will lead the line for the South Londoners in Devon.
Magennis, replacing the suspended Lee Novak, is the only change from the Valley victory over the the Gas last weekend, although after making 11 changes for the midweek cup-win at Exeter City, Karl Robinson has named an entirely different team from the side that progressed to round two of the Carabao Cup.
Midfielder Ben Reeves, who made his Addicks debut at St. James Park on Tuesday, doesn’t make the Charlton bench this afternoon as he is suffering from a tight calf.
Charlton: Amos, Dasilva, Pearce, Bauer, Solly, Kashi, Forster-Caskey, Holmes, Clarke, Fosu, Magennis. Subs: Phillips, Sarr, Konsa, Jackson, Aribo, Ahearne-Grant, Hackett-Fairchild.
